F.A.R.G (Frederick Amateur Repeater Group)
The 146.73 repeater is one of Maryland’s first Amateur repeaters and was possible through the hard work of well known Hams like Mel of Melcom K3ML, Gordon Parks (SK), Chuck Hite W3SOG (SK), Marvin Phillips W3YAE, Rolan Clark WA3PBC and Phil Stalnaker W3ICF. Many other hams of the past and present have also made it possible with their endless work and financial support. Without all of their help this project would no longer exist.
FARG is a staple of the Frederick area Amateur Radio community and will be for a long time to come. In 2020, the torch was passed on and FARG and MAWCG are merging resources to create an even better Amateur Radio community.
